You could create a shortcut on your desktop to
%systemroot%\system32\Scrnsave.scr /s

Then, after making the shortcut, right click on the icon, and select Properties. On the SHortcut tab, set a hotkey of your choice in `Shortcut Key`.

This should give you a hot key to run the Scrnsave screensaver at will.
