i am with mediacom and have 15 meg down and 1 meg up

i had problem's with them fixing my internet but after 3 or more months they did fix it just wondering if these r good speed test

Those are not technically "speed tests", but latency tests. I see that Mediacom is still sending "speed tests" that simply run a ping and traceroute command to a given website - this does NOT accurately test any bandwidth.

You will need to run a true speed test. The results you posted simply are latency tests, and they can't exactly distinguish between 8000kbps or 15000kbps of bandwidth available.

go to speedtest.net thats has always (since it came online) given me the most accurate results.

since i am in Iowa i use the Twin Cities location.
Chicago is only 4 hours away and houses a massive level 3 backbone hub but gives me less accurate results.

use a couple of sites and you can't get an average but alot of the sites can handle the 15meg download we have.

but use it,, its your friend.
