@verizon.net | Can I split the line to add a 2cd TV w/o a converter box?
Just had one HD converter box installed (Motorola QIP6200-2) and want to know if it is possible to "split" the signal so I can add a 2cd TV without having to add a 2cd box.
I had Comcast cable prior and I was able to do exactly that. |

| reply to RobFG67 Once VZ moves to all digital, you'll have to get some sort of box, unless perhaps your TV has a QAM tuner. When they turn off your analogs, they should offer you a free, very basic box. Regardless of where you split, run RG6 from a 1000ghz (at least) splitter. Should work fine. My main line splits into three just inside, no problems. KM -- Don't Lie - Be Kind - Realize your Potential |

You'll be doomed sooner or later.
I'd at least look into seeing if you can get a free DCT 700 box. |
