Ray422 : I was making some BIOS changes today. While reviewing the boinc screen I noticed that one of my cores (now 2 cores) wasn't running, or so I thought. One unit (not shown now) was reading "WAITING TO RUN" but would not run.

First, I thought it was the program. I restarted, changed settings, aborted a unit,restarted, etc,etc. Then I figured it was the horror of a CORE FAILURE. This is an undue annoyance costing both my time and valuable crunch time.

For those who have recently increased their cache due to the recent boinc outage....You may suddenly think one or more cores have failed. Be advised that your cores will suddenly skip below your visable screen area and start a "high priority unit".

I have not tried to check and have no idea what this is all about?
--
Team Discovery and Project Hope
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">
