If the fiber has not been spliced yet there would be no case or snowshoes. Or the fiber could be directly pulled into a handhole next to the equipment then no splice case would be seen. I was wondering why the cable was wrapped like that at the pole. I'll take a picture to confirm suspicions. Beats me why AT&T would deploy U-Verse out here in the semi-country, but I'm not going to complain.

I found out a month ago AT&T's upgrading near me (outside Ripley, TN) to provide DSL. Now, they are installing the equipment.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what services these RTs/DSLAMs provide? I'm not expecting Uverse.

I also am attaching a picture of the copper (fiber?) leading to the RTs. If it helps, they had a orange jacket and were on large spools.
