Deleting listed providers under avatar..

The reviews seem to generate a line item under the avatar showing the service you are connected with.

Is it possible to delete or change those in order not to have a laundry list of providers I no longer subscribe to?

Mine, as you see, shows ViaTalk and Comcast, neither of which I have.

Deleting reviews resides with the admin and they prefer not to remove them unless there is a big problem with it. Once you review your new ISP (AT&T) I assume the latest review will show up first and rest will fall under.

This isn't really a *forum feature request*, more of a site question.....

You can't delete reviews, and I don't believe you can change the order either. There are multiple threads on this, mostly in the Site Help forum. Here are a couple of them:

»Removing ISP Reviews/Associations

»How to keep reviews from showing up under my name ??

The reviews are sorted in order of last update.

You can't delete but they will fall off your member page after two years of no updates.

It would be nice if there's a way to define which is your current active providers for the various services you subscribe to. That way it would only show the active ones. All the others still exist so nothing is lost. In addition, when marking a service inactive, it would be helpful to others to have a place where the reason for stopping/switching was captured by the original reviewer.

Sounds far more complex than I ever imagined.

Thanks for the info....

IMO

IMO the idea of getting rid of them all together would not help other users decide which BB service they should go with.

All data that does drop off within 2 years is still available in the archived in BBR.

Like was mentioned you can update your experience with your current ISP this gives other users help in deciding and also points out the problems or good experiences users have.

Fourboxers Reminded me you can choose to view or not to view users reviews in your user settings.

Thanks for the good information Fourboxers
