It is a bit pricy for personal use, but it is easy to use and I had great success with 2.0. Never used 3.0 so not sure if it is as good.

tried this too. It has laggy mouse, and tends to crash on vista if the video becomes too long. |

Will Windows Media Encoder do what you are wanting to do? I think it's still free. I haven't tried it since switching from XP to Vista, so you might experience problems using it with Vista, but I believe there is a hotfix for those who do happen to run into a problem.

It will under Vista aero, but not on XP.
