rizwan602 : I have been playing around with Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and have found it to be a really amazing product.

I would like to consolidate my several PC's into the Virtual PC. My question is how can I convert the hard disks I have into VHD files?

I understand that even if I can get it done, the hardware changes may cause the systems to not boot. I have already taken that into account by installing the registry tweaks needed to recognize new IDE controllers and not rely on hardware specific ones, so that the system can boot using a generic IDE driver. With this in mind the system should boot fine.

Anyway is there a solution to convert a hard drive into a VHD image?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Rizwan
