Yes, I got an email as well in Phoenix area with the same information. I have been with Sprint Broadband Direct / earthlink for over 8 years, and they have been the fastest service available.

If anyone else is in Tempe/Phoenix area, what will you be going to? I don't have cable and I don't trust QWest and satellite is just too slow...
