GISOL

do not use these guys:

its a scam. I had used them a couple years back and was reasonably satisfied with them. I signed up for web-hosting a couple weeks ago. It looks like a cheap deal. Once you give them your cc info you get a notice that they will call you. They called me the next day. It was a very evasive dishonest sales person. It took some digging to realize what he was saying, and then some arguing to get the truth out of him. They charge you for 3 years in advance, at the full price. The full price was 1800. Then they send you a certified letter for a "rebate". When I got this out of the punk i told him to stick. He told me it was too late to go online and cancel it, which i did. Sure enuf they still charged me the 1800. I am now disputing it with my credit card company. Luckily in MA you can only be held liable for the first $50 of credit card theft. What a headache though.

Paying a year in advance is risky business but paying 3 years is off the scale. There's no guarantee the company will still be operational in 3 days so 3 years certainly doesn't make good business sense. That's without even giving any thought to how our personal needs can change in unforeseen ways over a 3 year time span.
Paying off today's debt with tomorrows income is no different than a Ponzi scheme. Sooner or later it will collapse under it's own weight & the longer it takes to collapse the louder the boom will be.

ps I hope that even if they offered something such as 10-15% off for a 3 year prepaid subscription you'd still them where to shove the offer.

thats the thing, i signed up for a 1 year subscrition at $7 a month, instead they charged me for 3 years at 49 a month, after i told them no thanks. i would never pay for 3 years in advance, even at the advertized price, i have filed with the bbb and the IC3, i will file with the DA as well. The more research i do, the more i realize that have ripped off hundreds of other people as well
