I notice that you do not have dhcp configured for your clients. This would imply that you are doing static address assignment on your clients or using a separate dhcp server on each of the vlans. In either case, as previously mentioned make sure you have the clients properly configured with the appropriate default gateway. My next step would be to ping the ip address of each of the vlan interfaces from the client on the 172.16.1.0 network and from a client on the vlan2 network. Both clients should be able to ping both addresses.
