When you install the Nvidia drivers, it will create a directory something like c:\nvidia\win2kxp or c:\nvidia\WinVista.<br><br>The current driver and older drivers are all sub-directoried  there, provided that you didn't physically delete them on your own.<br><br>Just click on the roll back driver button and choose the directory that contains the driver you want to roll back to.<br><small>--<br><b><A HREF="/forum/disco">Team Discovery</a></b>--<b><A HREF="/forum/helix">BBR Team Helix</a></b>--<b>Cuz I Care!!</b></small>]]></description>

The log showed some registry entries deleted during the cleaning. In my experience, Nvidia does a horrible job of removing it's own drivers. Weather you use add/remove programs, or do the un-install straight from device manager, the Nvidia folder is always left, and it is full of left over files. I also find that driver sweeper always has registry entries that it cleans out. This is why your settings will still be there after you update drivers, if all you do is use add/remove to nuke the old drivers. ]]></description>

Funny but I bought Crysis and loaded it and got nothing but a black screen and froze when I executed the file. I noticed that even after uninstalling the previous driver, it was still there. Or maybe just remnants of it. I ran driver sweeper and behold, Crysis runs great. <br><br>One thing, do not delete the Nvidia folder. That will remove your ethernet and motherboard Nvidia drivers as well, if applicable.   ]]></description>

It's just one of those out-of-the-blue errors.<br><br>In reflection, it's probably one of those problems where a number of requirements need to line up. And unless you aren't using the RDC function in XP, this should not be a concern. Mostly figured I'd bring light to this error in case people reading this thread upgraded and ran into the issue.<br><small>--<br><i>I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources. If you are running an nvidia card on the machine serving RDC and update to this version of drivers, RDC will not work. I trust you're referring to frame rate issues? As a matter of fact, with the latest driver I did notice I went from 85fps to 115fps in World Of Warcraft in Shatt. Unreal 3 had a slight increase on some maps like Island got a clear 8fps. <br><br>Why would you have a fair chance that benchmarks would decrease? I'd be interested in screenshots, just for kicks. ]]></description>
