The reasoning is still sound depending on your point of reference. For example, in Vista the older Nostromo software (which has some sparing updates) is so broken that almost anything would be an improvement. So yeah, even though I have confirmed that the new “Razor” software works with the older n52 in Vista I think I am going to have to test it further on the old n52. Also note that there will supposedly be an upcoming “Razor” software update to address its shortcomings.

BTW, have you tried using the new “Razor” software bundled with the n52te with the old n52? Yeah, I'm trying to get a hold of some new ones so I have backups. The key is to strike when the iron is hot. The n52 was really cheap and readily available for a time there. They were practically giving them away there for a while.
