Re: wireless broadband I wonder if Verizon will try to offer a combined FiOS + EV-DO plan to compensate- though that could be difficult with the wireline/wireless division at the company, and the fact that they'd be competing with a "free" service.
A VoIP phone service over this would definitely be an attack on Verizon and the other wireless companies- do phones exist that can do handoffs from one Wi-Fi cell site to another, though? Without handoffs it's much less of a competitor to cellular wireless. |
