Just thought I would check-in since I haven't been around for awhile, quite awhile, like 6 months? Somehow I sort of stumbled back to BBR tonight. And felt so inclined to post something. Ack!
Feel kind of bad actually since I just sort of abruptly stopped posting back in November. Kinda feels like letting certain people down. But, anyways, I guess that's the nature of the Internet today. People posting stuff, never to be heard from again, just coming and going.
For those who actually care, though, nope, I'm not dead. I'm still kicking around, lol. Like if anyone actually cared in the first place though. 
Short blog: been fairly busy in the last six months, pretty focused on other things. Money & travel for anyone who actually knows me. It's actually been good to be away from this place though. Not a put-down or anything like that, just an observation.
One thing I've noticed though, from checking out not only recent posts but some of the old posts dating back to last year, not much has changed! Same old posters, same old faces, same old arguments, same old biases, same old trivial little disagreements. In all the various forums. Yadda, yadda, yadda... Quite funny actually. 
Good shout-out and a hello to everyone who still make this place part of their daily routine, though, and who actually remember me.
I probably won't be around for a few months more, until the end of the year, or 2009, as I have so much stuff going on right now.

Hiya, welcome back and have fun. I took a fairly good break myself, got fairly burned on the whole political, esoteric, nattering back and forth with the discussions. Now it's just easier to take it in stride and well have fun. |
