Re: sbb direct is being discontinued in san jose as of 7/31/08 Found out today about them shutting down service in Fresno area. they told me letter should be sent May 30th, and service to be shut down August 31. They also said the EVDO card as a replacement, but i have a home network, and dont think the EVDO card will work with all 3 of my computers. I am going to check out unWiredbroadband. I work for Cal Fire, and all of our county fire stations have unwired and so far its been really good. Not many options when you live in the country. We dont have any cable companies out here, and I dont want to get satellite internet.

| I'm also from fresno and with the same problem as you. So if you or any other who live the fresno area do fine another good wireless please let me know.
I thought the EVDO card had that 5gig bandwith restriction ? |
