I won't be running out to buy one today since I would rather wait a bit to see if it shows up on one of the current gen consoles or Media Center. Thus saving me 100 bucks.
As for the selection of instant watch stuff...
I've not watched any of Netflix on-line content in about 6 months. There were lots of documentaries that I wanted to see that I would not would have wanted to have sent to me. So it was great in that regard. The TV series have really expanded. though they will still at time leave a couple of episodes out as being watchable on DVD only. I didn't browse through the movies much. But the quick glance that I did take showed a few titles that I remember being released on DVD about 6 months or so ago. Plus tons of older titles.
All in all, it's like have a 10k title DVD collection. Even though your friends would really question your sanity on some of your choices of DVD's. And I could think of a lot worse to spend a hundred bucks on. |
