1 edit | lack of speed Eh, with the current broadband database being limited to people that live in city's and on top of video stores, this doesn't excite me. Anytime those of us that live just on the outskirts get a possible good wireless option it gets FAPed and well, services like this will eat up the 5 gig cap (( read sprints 5 gig cap article ))..
Until some real broadband deployment happens, service's like these will only be available to people that aready have tons of entertainment options, so .. So, its like trying to sell firewood to someone that lives in a "rural" area...
Btw yes this feature is free with subscription.. For now, but once they get a larger amount of people downloading, there will be a sudden "emergency" reason that they have to put a small fee and then milk it from there.. Probably will have something to do with Data throughput cost recovery, or the dreaded RIAA or that one for movies MPAA ? One of them will appear and screw it up, as they always do.. |
