| hahaha You people honestly think that the major ISP's (cable providers in particular) will allow you to use their cheap bandwidth to stream VIDEO content to your TV's?
It would not make any since for TWC or COMCAST to allow you to pay someone $8.95/month for access to 10000 movies (VOD Services) that they already charge you $3.95/each for.
No, this is a not a technology that will last, since you need to have 28Mbps downstream to maintain an HD stream. Look at this math to prove the HD point, this is for a 25GB Blueray type film, over 2 hours.
((25 GB) / (2 hours)) to Mbps = 28.4444444 Mbps Google 
I dont know any ISP's that give you anything close to that speed, espically one that can maintain that for 2 hours.
