Houston, TX | Usage tools There's a great freeware tool I have used to monitor network usage called NetLimiter 2 Monitor. Tracks usage on a single computer so it would be difficult to use in a shared connection environment without some basic math skills

I installed it because I was worried how bandwidth caps would affect me if they were implemented. Turns out the highest bandwidth month for me was 1.8 gig in January 2007. All other months average around .7 gig per month.
I would guess that most of you out there worried about caps wouldn't even be affected by them. It's just the idea you don't like. |
