Nothing much to be excited about here. Not likely to get "U-Verse" anytime in my lifetime, since we still can't get DSL. (Living in the middle of a MSA of 300,000+. DSL available all around, just not here.)
ATT sold me overpriced phone on a 30-year old, 22,000 foot long copper pair, and offered me a satellite dish. Cox gives me 5/0.5 internet service, phone, digital TV, and is actually improving their system. Not perfect, but a lot better than vaporware.
