[Joke] Spanking children!

Most of Britain’s populace think it improper to spank children.
The other day I was talking to one of my younger mates about methods used to discipline children.

We talked about 'time outs', grounding, holding back 'rewards' until the child displayed desired behaviour etc. One of the things we discussed was the act of spanking and my friend explained that no, he does not spank any of his children.

He explained that what he does is to take the misbehaving child out for a ride in the car and talk. He said that usually this works and that the child calms down fairly quickly and really doesn't take too much time.

By removing the child, in this case his son, from the immediate situation and providing a change of scenery, the child is allowed to focus on something different. Once the child has the opportunity to change perspective, things get better quickly and the child has better understanding of his place within the family and begins to understand
the families concept of acceptable behaviour.

He kindly shared a picture of the process which I share with you now below. (albeit above as I blatantly plagiarised an email)

You have anything to back that? I don't believe that to be the case

Most of the people in Britain don't offer citations when posting something that is meant to be humourous either.

Oh, you guys!!! Here! »www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/womanshour/···01.shtml . (There'll be a short quiz tomorrow so write down all the citations offered.)

And am I the only one that realized it's an American car on an American highway, probably someplace in Pennsylvania, I would guess.

Can you make it more obvious?

What was that quote from Good Morning Vietnam? Robin Williams character says something to the NCO along the lines of "I've never met a human being so much in need of a ...." what now?

You are correct, most of Britains populace think it OK to spank/discipline children when needed. However the do googers and the Labour party ride rough-shod over all our wishes and made it illegal to do so.

Then they wonder why there are gangs of children roaming around causing trouble without a care in the World. No discipline!!

Bloody do-gooders!!!

I thought it was an enema, but if you give me a day or so I can probably give you a more authoritative answer.

Please make allowances for American visitors. They can't help not having a sense of humour.

In the USA, you're legally required to say "ha, ha, only kidding" after saying anything funny in conversation.
