 Facebook problem??

does anyone else get a DNS lookup error when trying to go to www.facebook.com?
at first i was getting the 'found not help' error message but i opted out after finding the link in another thread here. but i still get an error message even though i am pretty sure facebook's server is not down.

anyone else have this problem? it only happened after i used CCleaner to clear my cookies. im so tired of hughes net's bullcrap.

Works for me. Looks like a dangerous site to me. It is not a Hughes problem.

"i used CCleaner to clear my cookies. im so tired of hughes net's bullcrap."

Might want to blame CC cleaner ?????

Same thing happening to me also.
Its a HN issue, I can access the site from a proxy, and the nslookup record for them is still good according to dnsstuff lookups.

Sorry I am using the Hughes DNS servers and it comes up.
Ain't a hughes problem. Duhhh " A social utility" what ever that is.

Hrmm, interesting, most of my dns requests end up resolved to 65.200.200.50,
which is owned by verizon (actually mci DBA verizon)
they have 65.192.0.0-65.223.255.255
they are leasing 65.200.200.32-63 to Paxfire INC
paxfire is self described as "Paxfire is the proven industry leader in monetizing Address Bar Search and DNS Error traffic for Network Operators."

So im deffenatly getting the wrong dns resolution for facebook.com
Unfortunately hughesnet blocks requests to non HN dns servers.

FYI you can do a ipconfig /flushdns to flush your dns cache.

Not working for me either - hasn't been working since around 4pm or so - I get the same problems. First I was getting DNS Error - then I started getting this page:
»wwh.found-not-help.com/search?qo···navOqBL6
Every time I try to go - checked on 3 different PC's here and all 3 have the exact same result. Definitely not the computer - definitely Hughes. I have DSL at my house in the city and connecting through LogMeIn.com to my PC back there I had no problem going to facebook.

Edit to add: I'm in Canada - I'm on the satellite at 91West - 1370Mhz - 7000 modem.

I'll continue checking until I go to sleep tonight - and again in the morning before I head out for the day if it's still not working by the end of the night tonight. It's all very strange.

Edit - I just tried again and it's working as of right now - 9:18pm EDT.
Additional Edit - I still can't view photo albums - if I try I get broken images and if I try to "view image" I get the DNS error on photos-c.ak.facebook.com
