  Heterman Premium join:2004-02-28 Fayetteville, AR | If I am thinking of the same thing, the Wing Dish is usually a single-LNB, 18" dish. I think it can also be a regular Dish 500 dual-LNB dish, but you will only be using a single LNB. |

| The OP didn't mention anything regarding HDTV. The question was about the size of a "wing dish", which is most commonly used to receive a satellite in an orbital position which is a greater distance apart than a multi-position dish can physically "see". |

| OK missed that, those are the same as the standard 18" round one... and are a second dish, unless you are buying only that programing, and not the main bird nat networks.
Guess I was just thinking of the oval's sort of wing shape... if they had said wing bird/sat instead of just wing wouldn't have missed that intent. -- »haywardm.com (Hayward's Key West)
