Power output of the 327 router?

Anyone know of the actual RF output on the 327? Is it in line with others?

This seems very low compared to reading I have gotten from other wireless points around my location. Actually, my signal is weaker than my two neighbors and is as astrong as one 6 doors away. I have the router mounted 4" up on a wall away from other metal devices (purposely), but it doesn't give me much range.

I haven't tried any other antenna yet.

Has there been tests on other wireless routers regarding range?

My laptop is showing a strong signal, a little stronger than I had with the motorola access point I had previously used.

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't really answer anything.
Moving a microwave antenna 2 inches will make the same duifference.

I would be interested in this info as well. I can't get my 327 to cover my entire house. but I can pickup the signal of a linksys AP from my neighbor who is about 150 ft away.

I've installed a higher gain antenna ont he westell but it doesn't seem to help enough.
