Poor Reliablity & Poor Support

Just when our system needs the Internet the most it fails in the worst possible manner - long timeouts that frequently results in frozen computers or stalled server. We've suffer intermittent reliability issues for months with Friday and weekend failures most common and of course when we do the most business too!

Our business sells tickets on-site and online especially requiring Internet access for credit card sales.

Phone support is very problematic too. If it answers at all (maybe once per 30 calls) the technician is often unable to immediately confirm or deny an issue with Etheric. A check by the technician requires loading a program, populate stuff, check this and that for an answer some five minutes later.

Technician also has inordinate difficulty determining the user account and unable to lookup the account via the assigned static IP address.

Seems that 24/7 reliability issues ought to monitored by Etheric staff and/or automatically along with instant display of any issues. A web based service status page would be nice too.

basically Me too. What I"m seeing is that the speed (and latency) is very inconsistent. Today, in the morning it was symetrical 4Meg, but yesterday in the afternoon it was 200k download and 3 meg up. Same the day after.

Have others seen bad performance in the PM?
Does anobody know what is causing this? overheating Trango modems?
Any ideas?
