All cable companies are in bed with the cell phone makers on this. Do you really think that the cell phone carriers are really giving discounts here??? With T-Mobile at least (and AT&T?) you can buy any "prepaid" phone kit that they sell and use it for postpaid service simply by swapping the SIM cards.
I got a replacement Motorola V195 for $30 this way. Would've been $100 to get it through the postpaid group. Works just fine. |
