On the back side I have a Linksys RV042 VPN router. My configuration has been working great since November 2007. Now for some unknown reason remote users cannot login to the VPN router. I noticed the PPPoE password field had 8 characters instead of 7. So when manually re-enter the 7 character password users can log in. Upon saving settings on the Linksys router the password field shows 8 characters and users can no longer login.
