Thanks again =)
No problem, glad you liked it. Consider it a souvenir. I saved the template tif, so I figured I could just make more if I want, and mine was the smallest that we had made, soo ....

tertech ... to clarify, I didn't take off with his girlfriend !! LOL She approached me and said her boyfriend really liked my shirt, and asked where they could buy some. I had made it and others for my clan, and didn't even have the notion anyone else would want one. I wasn't about to take any $$ for it, so I literally "gave her the shirt off my back". LOL (I had a sweater on underneath)

They were a hit. Page 3 of the Metro this morning.

Was great meeting you, Candoo!

I couldn't believe it when I saw that! "This parliament has no shortage of the theatre of the absurd" while showing that inflatable dinosaur... and not a word on Net Neutrality.
Somehow I wish I could have seen it myself. Like you, it's hard to believe... darn, should have put signs on the Godzilla.

Last night's The National? It's still on line, check The National latest broadcast, fast forward to 4:30... it should be there until 10pm tonight, I guess, when they replace it.

Hi SharpShark,

I noticed at one point that you were being interviewed by Paul Brent of CJOH ( Ottawa CTV ) was the camera rolling? Did he say if you would be on a segment of his show?

Looks like they replaced it with a fake 0 byte file.

Or is that normal ? Maybe they require a windows only media player.

(of course by now, they are broadcasting the national in newfoundland, so it is normal that it would no longer available, but when I tried it it was about 30 minutes ago.

It's still there, runs fine (under Windows), but yes, it is "Windows Media" player based.

Edit: looks like I'm able to stream thenational.wmv using VLC under Windows. I'll see if I can save the stream...

Edit2: I've attached the tiny clip in question for those who missed it... and no, unfortunately, Bob Ray does not go on to talk about Net Neutrality.

Edit3: Remember Jayman made available for download proper videos of actual Net Neutrality Rally media coverage in another thread.

LOL... I first read that as... Who was the guy who took off with my girlfriend in the beige net neutrality t-shirt. Thanks again =)

O.K. I just have to ask...

By 'took off', do you mean 'departed', or 'disrobed' ? The latter is a little too personal, no?
Sorry, i knew i had phrased it wrong, but was too tired to correct it.

I meant to say, he took off his shirt for my girlfriend..

wait... ok no .. he had a neutrality shirt on and he gave it to my girlfriend... and he was wearing another shirt underneath so there was nothing weird about it =)

I just was hoping there would be some t-shirt giveaways.. and yes it is for a souvenir.... a nice memory to keep in the movement =)

You can tell i was really tired writing that after i got home from work at 10pm, because when i asked my girlfriend to go ask about the shirt i was falling asleep on the parliament lawn, lol

... and I was kind of posing for the camera guy as he asked. Hmmm... I think that from now on, it'd be wise to always have a Net Neutrality sign to show to any camera at all time to make sure it will be on all footage. You know, like a watermark. Only if I'd knew. Tsk, tsk.

Thanks for recording and sharing it.

Hey Sharp Shark, your "stunt" wasn't attached to the net neutrality rally on the CBC report, so no worries there !

The way I saw it, they wanted to show how absurd parliament was with all the bernier stuff, and you provided the perfect image.

You can show the video to your inflatable toy and make him/her/it proud !!!!!

Sharpshark, I have plenty of high definition footage of your dinosaur, a good amount of it with you blowing it up! You'll be prominently featured in the video I'm editing together today!

To all: I'll try to post the video in time for the weekend. I need to reduce an hour's worth of footage down to a ten minute segment suitable for YouTube.

You should see if you can put it up on here as a larger file... What's the limit here? Anyone know?

Hmmm, let's see, what's a good way to share a large file between several individual internet users? There must be an innovative peer-to-peer internet file sharing technique... oh damn Bell!!

I can easily create a 10 minute 960x540 XviD/mp3 format video which will be about 160K in size. The best way to distribute it will probably be via BitTorrent, even with the throttling.

I don't think we have an upload limit in size. I think it depends on connection speed.
