A. I asked their level 2 EVDO support people directly if they are about to roll out RevA. The response was, "I can't comment on that, but watch for an announcement very soon". I asked for a better time frame, and he would not comment further. My GUESS is that RevA is being rolled out nationwide soon, and they are testing all towers one at a time to make sure they all function before they flip the switch.

Again, this is only my guess.....it would be great if an Alltel person would visit and chime in...

I recently was across the border in VA away from a Alltel tower roaning on a Sprint tower. Speed were 1250/350 on average.

Stayed in rA for about 45 seconds. Not long enough to do a speed test :). I am now at my second home in Wilmington NC with DO only. Smithfield NC was also DO only.
