pioneer56 : If they are about the rollout rev a I don't know why they are being so quiet about it. They are LAST to the party as far as major cell carriers to upgrade to rev a and somw are toying with the idea of starting rev b upgrades. I hope they upgrade goes better than the proxy server that doesn't exist "upgrade".

hdman : I spoke with Alltel customer service and they are VERY mum on Rev. A. I asked their level 2 EVDO support people directly if they are about to roll out RevA. The response was, "I can't comment on that, but watch for an announcement very soon". I asked for a better time frame, and he would not comment further. My GUESS is that RevA is being rolled out nationwide soon, and they are testing all towers one at a time to make sure they all function before they flip the switch.

Again, this is only my guess.....it would be great if an Alltel person would visit and chime in...

HDMan
--
The proper way to break in a Harley: Grab a fist full of throttle, and ride it like you stole it!!!

MarthaG : I had something strange happen today. I was going along fine on DO and then my signal dropped to 1X and then it went to RevA and stayed there for a minute or so. It kept trying to get RevA but settled for DO. They must be doing something. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
