For most of us, it's not doing anything to fix it, but give it a shot OpenDNS is much better anyway

According to Comcast tech's they have no idea what I'm talking about nor see any problem in my area ..

Only thing I got from him was since 7am this morning they have been doing upgrades in my area..

Does anyone have any more suggestions ?

Thanks ..

Go outside, mow the lawn, play fetch with the dog etc. Somewhere, someone knows what's wrong and Amazon/Ebay/Price Watch/Craigslist is overnighting something to someone

Ah, thank goodness google crawled this page so quickly. I googled "can't get to godaddy from comcast" and this was the first hit. It only started for me an hour and a half or so ago and when i chatted with a comcast support idiot, i hung up literally feeling stupider from having interacted with him. Anyhow, I'm experiencing the same here in Seattle, can't get to godaddy, nor my godaddy sites. can VPN to work and get to them from there tho. Guess I'll wait it out then.

Sometimes just knowing you're not alone is a relief in and of itself.

You peeps have a nice day.

I had the same problem, so I power cycled my Cable modem and it cleared it. Or maybe it cleared itself at the same moment.

iirc, the 4.2.2.1, 4.2.2.2 etc DNS servers offered by VZ are now closed.
They are not Verizon DNS servers. They are run by Level 3.

They are still accessible to me:
The fastest are my ISP servers (last pair).
