Comcast is also notorious for timing out your lease and not giving one back to the same ip# in a timely fashion. Once you can log into your router, Clone your Computers MAC address and see if things tip right side up again. -- Computer Repair & Networking Services »MemphisPCGuy.com

If I clone my MAC addy will that do anyting negative. I work from home via a VPN connection my company set up and I don't want to clone the MAC Addy if it will screw that up or my wife's labtop that connects wirelessly. The re-boot didnt fix the issue but I can now get on the router.
