 Is Telasip down?

I can't get to www.telasip.com, my phone number just rings but never hits my server and when I dialout via Telasip all it does is ring forever. It never connects. Other providers are working great.

Anyone else having Telasip troubles?

Oh and I called their "support" number from my cell and it just rings.

Everything is normal for me on 3 accounts. Web site is also reachable from here.

BUT... they have posted the following that may apply to you:

Network Status

• We are currently experiencing an issue on some DIDs orignating from Level 3. We do not have an ETA yet.

Submit Trouble Ticket

• support@telasip.com

I had the same problem last night but it seems to be working this morning. This is the third time in the last month that I have been without long distance. Each time I have tried to access Telasip's web site and it is also down. Looks like time to find a alternate trunk for long distance

My service is working again this morning. I find it frustrating that I couldn't even get to their website but I could register with GW3. Odd.

My impression is that telasip is a very small (one-man?) shop, so it isn't surprising that many (if not most) of their eggs are in the same basket - if that basket breaks, bad news for you...
