Most everyone here was suspisious of me, and had they acted on it from the start, the town could have won. Even if Muz had been lynched first, the next day the blame could be traced to me. Amen. |

| reply to muzscman said by yock :Why is it that Muz's posts always sound so awkward to me? I thought I had you pegged as Mafia. Karride, I don't know what to tell you. I had you dead to rights from your first couple of posts. Eh, people always think I'm mafia, Look at every game I've played and I will have been under suspicion at least once. I think its because no matter what I'm playing as I over analyze my posts before I post them, and as a result they come out looking suspicious.

I believe this is the third time in a row that muz has picked the wrong player in a lynch-or-lose Hammer's Choice*. LOL. * Hammer's Choice, n. But I was sure sans was mafia considering he refused to hammer karride....

I had you dead to rights from your first couple of posts. I think it's because I don't play often and when I do, I think some people do want to lynch me because they don't often get a chance to do that anymore (me moding 95% of the games now...).

| reply to drew said by drew :at LoL, there was no way for town to win in this game. Well yeah, the whole point of playing F11 is to not have the chronic C9 problem of LoL on Day 2.
So they let it go no-lynch 2 days in a row and wind up in the same boat. |

| reply to Count Zero said by Count Zero :If the town didn't believe it because I didn't have anyone guilty to point fingers at.... Sure you did. Sacrifice Karride. You finger him, he turns up bad, you are the hero, and cleared, and go on to "clear" someone else, then they lynch the guy that you didn't clear.... and when he turns up good, they lynch the other guy that you didn't clear....
Somewhere amongst all that you whack them one at a time, while they frantically try and find the "other Mafia", who of course, is you.
Of course, at lynch-or-lose that would subject you to quite a bit of interrogation. As long as you can get them to vote, you could even finger a Townie and win immediately. |

| reply to Count Zero Mostly we just felt that it was a bigger liability than we needed to take on considering how well the game had gone thus far.
I think the first few days lacking a lynch really helped us prevent the town from establishing any motives.
I think this game serves as perfect proof as to why using No Lynches on the first few days of a game is often a bad idea (obviously certain 'specialty games' may be different, but this sort of typical setup is against the town when no lynches occur early on.
When some people voted for Karride towards the end he asked me if I wanted to vote for him and I said "no, the town would have to all 3 vote for you to pull that lynch off, might take them long enough to decide to do that that the timer will run out and then we've won"
This was a great game to play as the mafia in. |
