| reply to Johnny Re: [game] F11 Short Time!
Whew! I thought for sure I was a goner.
Good Game everyone, as always I enjoy playing Goon a lot more than I enjoy being townie. I was sweating the last couple of hours of this game though. Then count goes offline 4 minutes before the critical vote.
Since everyone was curious, Night 1 kill of the Doc was a lucky hit, plain and simple. I originally picked therul to try and frame Muz based on the fact that Rul had voted for him. The death of the doc however created more confusion than I could have. |

drew Reformation Premium join:2002-07-10 Port Orchard, WA clubs: | I thought you were merely putting yourself up for bait. CZ could throw in the secondary or final vote on you and then he'd be cleared and you could lynch sans/paulg/muz and then win the game the next night. |

Still think Mafia should have claimed Cop - they knew there was no Cop.
CZ shouts from the back of the crowd watching sans' lynch, "Just email me at bwahahha@dslrmafia.net" |

| said by Johnny :dunno. He was on 37 minutes prior.. Still think Mafia should have claimed Cop - they knew there was no Cop. We thought about it. Decided it was going well enough we didn't need to. The worst case plan was for CZ to do what drew suggested. |

drew Reformation Premium join:2002-07-10 Port Orchard, WA clubs: | I can't believe we've had more discussion post game than we did ever during the game. That's awesome! :/
I do need to say that CZ had stayed at the bottom of my list from the beginning. He'd totally won my "trust" with all the banter. |

Count Zero MD2Be Premium join:2007-01-18 Warner Robins, GA | reply to Johnny Yeah I PM'd Karride and we discussed claiming cop. I was going to on day two or three, but we decided it was a risky gambit. |
|
drew Reformation Premium join:2002-07-10 Port Orchard, WA clubs: | with no cop in the mix (which you would know for 100% certainty), why would it be risky? |

| Mostly we just felt that it was a bigger liability than we needed to take on considering how well the game had gone thus far.
I think the first few days lacking a lynch really helped us prevent the town from establishing any motives.
I think this game serves as perfect proof as to why using No Lynches on the first few days of a game is often a bad idea (obviously certain 'specialty games' may be different, but this sort of typical setup is against the town when no lynches occur early on.
When some people voted for Karride towards the end he asked me if I wanted to vote for him and I said "no, the town would have to all 3 vote for you to pull that lynch off, might take them long enough to decide to do that that the timer will run out and then we've won"
This was a great game to play as the mafia in. |

| reply to Count Zero said by Count Zero :If the town didn't believe it because I didn't have anyone guilty to point fingers at.... Sure you did. Sacrifice Karride. You finger him, he turns up bad, you are the hero, and cleared, and go on to "clear" someone else, then they lynch the guy that you didn't clear.... and when he turns up good, they lynch the other guy that you didn't clear....
Somewhere amongst all that you whack them one at a time, while they frantically try and find the "other Mafia", who of course, is you.
Of course, at lynch-or-lose that would subject you to quite a bit of interrogation. As long as you can get them to vote, you could even finger a Townie and win immediately. |
