Oh, and then sell the data to telemarketers! Its not the same thing, as nobody is actually reading your emails and so forth. A better example would be that the phone company analyzed your monthly calling patterns, and then you received ads in the mail for long distance calling plans based on those patterns.

The data collected is (according to NebuAd at least!) annonymized (sp?), therefore a person isnt actually taking note of the specific activity.
