Yawnnnnnnnn

Oh yea, another anti-comcast story. I know this isn't the case but it seems like were in a "pat our self on the back" and anti-comcast story loop.

Oh and for goodness sakes enough of the wrinkly turtle neck old lady.

I think some Comcast tech saved some nuns from a burning building once and he posted that but not with out making reference to some other bad deeds done by Comcast.

I think he once posted that Comcast didn't cause the extinction of the Dodo bird.

he's fine with cable companies spending billions to bring us faster internet, but if they don't give us broadband nerds what we dream for--uncapped, fast, robust, cheap service--that means lawmakers or regulators should save us by telling companies what to do.

I never get tired of hearing about how shitty Comcrap and BB is in the U.S., generally speaking. It only underscores how bad consumers are getting shafted by big corps and how a lot more of us need to be paying much beter attention instead of swallowing.

Only when there is something positive to post. It's rare.

Yep. It's quite rare that good news comes out of Comcrap. There's just soo much incompetence and abuse in that company, that rarely will you hear something good about it.

Karl hated Verizon until they started fiber to the home. Comcast will never feel the love!

If there was something posititive to report yeah. He ran the DOSCIS stories and the stories of Comcast techs comming to the rescue during emergencies.

Really? Is that why he ran the frequent FiOS installers break this or that stores?

There was even one case he ran with an article claiming that FiOS installers broke something but in the actual article, it wasn't the FiOS guys who did it. The story was quickly deleted without mention.

like what?

video price goes up only twice the rate of inflation?

not all the tech reps are morons?

pings only go thru the roof from 3pm to 10pm?

you only get penalized $15/month on the broadband price if you don't bundle?

Re: Yawnnnnnnnn

I am neutral on Comcast. They don't service the area where I live. So I often wonder just how many of you who whine and bitch about Comcast actually live in a Comcast service area or are even customers.

Evidently it hasn't occurred to you that smaller ISPs almost always follow the leader on shit like this, particularly where making a buck or two is involved.

I was. Comcast trashed what was perfect ATTB service in my area. Thankfully they traded to TWC.

Yes. As soon as they do something positive, he posts it. Things like increasing service, dropping prices, rolling out Fiber, etc

Problem is.... They so rarely do anything positive, so it's few and far between!

There. Fixed it for you.

Re: Yawnnnnnnnn

Did you make that up? If not show some sort of evidence that smaller ISPs almost always follow.
