Actually, you don't All I had to do is plug in my HDTV-capable tv into cable, and all local channels and several extra ones lit up immediately. You need HD box if you want to watch premium HD channels and VOD. Otherwise, tuner-equipped HDTV TV is good enough. |

| reply to Quiglag Pricing depends upon area. Not every area uses the same rates as everyone knows with Time Warner. Just because you pay that price doesn't mean that I would in Ohio. They basically charge what the market will bare and if they have anyone else to compete against. Which normally they don't. |
