Power Code

We recently implemented power code. We would like to monitor our network with it, but the SNMP graphing just isnt working.

PowerCode Tech support has been working with us.

I have the Alvarion OID I need to get an rssi Value, Ive tested it locally with snmpwalk and return a value, so I know it works.

Ive Tried every power code configuration I can imagine, but have no graph showing up, I dont get the MRTG error in the standard graphs, so Im assuming I have the correct MRTG setting, Ive tried both the read and the write community string, but as yet have achieved no result.

We do have Power Code hosting our server, so that may play a part due to routing issues, supposedly there is a vpn in place.

Any advice or ideas?

Are you sure you are setting the correct interface to monitor in powercode - I know previously I had that setting wrong and it was monitoring the wrong interface. There's a snmpwalk command that gives you the mrtg interface# that corresponds to the physical interfaces.

ive used both 1 and 2 and ethernet port and radio port which are the responses that come back from snmpwalk

I've experienced problems with SNMP operating over a VPN in the past. It may have to do with the hosted nature of the Power Code. Have tried any of the other devices on your network with a default SNMP MIB set? My suggestion would be the standard interface MIB for utilization.
