Bypass nags after upgrading to prem

I would think that upgrading would allow you to bypass the nags but I still get" Are you sure you wish you post" YES!

For most dslr forums, these only happen to occasional posters to that forum. If you have posted recently to that forum you usually don't get the nag. Also, you don't seem to get them when using "qreply".

The purpose is to make sure you are aware of what is expected of posts to that forum.

I get them too.

They're really no big deal and some forum require "certain" information about a problem if that is what you are posting about.

An extra step is an extra step. Whether or not they are a problem would be an individual opinion. In my opinion they are an unneeded extra step and prevents me from posting in the first screen.

Well you'll be happy to know that not every forum uses them

And as nwrickert See Profile "these only happen to occasional posters to that forum". After the initial one they go away and if you are a frequent poster you'll never see them again in that forum.

I only get them in new forums(to me) and forums that I rarely post in, or if it has been quite awhile since my last posting. And I only get them if I attempt to start a thread. I never get them if I'm just responding to a thread already started.

They are an attempt to place the first-post warning message in front of the user if there is one, and they only happen when you haven't posted to a forum for ages (months).

But what he is saying is that one of the perks of being premium should allow you to not see these..

Perks are nice

Perks are nice but not reading the first post warnings tends to lower the quality of new topics.

Yeah, and we all would appreciate if you pay more attention to them, FE.

I haven't seen one of those nags in ages. Must be I don't get around much...
