I would think that upgrading would allow you to bypass the nags but I still get" Are you sure you wish you post" YES!

| For most dslr forums, these only happen to occasional posters to that forum. If you have posted recently to that forum you usually don't get the nag. Also, you don't seem to get them when using "qreply".
The purpose is to make sure you are aware of what is expected of posts to that forum. -- AT&T dsl; Westell 327w modem/router; SuSE 10.1; firefox 2.0.0.14 |

They're really no big deal and some forum require "certain" information about a problem if that is what you are posting about. -- Here's To You |

| Well you'll be happy to know that not every forum uses them
And as nwrickert "these only happen to occasional posters to that forum". After the initial one they go away and if you are a frequent poster you'll never see them again in that forum.

| reply to kieranmullen I only get them in new forums(to me) and forums that I rarely post in, or if it has been quite awhile since my last posting. And I only get them if I attempt to start a thread. I never get them if I'm just responding to a thread already started. -- If it's true that we learn from our mistakes, MENSA should honor me with their highest award! |

KieranMullen They are an attempt to place the first-post warning message in front of the user if there is one, and they only happen when you haven't posted to a forum for ages (months). |

Perks are nice |

Yeah, and we all would appreciate if you pay more attention to them, FE.
I haven't seen one of those nags in ages. Must be I don't get around much... -- New to Forum Life? Click here and learn. |
