Re: [DNS] Anyone having any DNS issues? GTE Internet, which was in 4.0.0.0/8, was spun off from GTE, the ILEC, when Verizon was formed in 2000. It became Genuity, and had no more to do with Verizon than spin-off ATTBI had to do with AT&T Corporation. As Comcast bought ATTBI, without buying AT&T Corporation, so Level 3 bought Genuity (former GTEI) without buying Verizon.
