I always watched hockey during Olympics when I was a kid. It did not hit me until 2002. I was glued to TV during the tournament. I was impressed with the USA team and supported it. Of course, "everyone" was for Canada (because of Sakic). Then started to read/follow NHL results and got into it. Some of my friends are into it as well. Bro tends to ask me for an opinion when he's betting. The trick was to copy in a couple of DLL files that PicaView needed, sorry I don't recall exactly what I did so long ago, it just works.

The Vista "Preview" is not quite the same, the whole point of PicaView is to be able to instantly see a small preview of the image with just ONE right-click, it appears inside your context menu. The Vista Preview you refer to requires the right-click and then another click to select Preview and then it has to load the Vista image viewer to show you the image... nowhere near as fast an convenient.

If you can't get PicaView to work then I highly recommend XnView »www.xnview.com
Make sure you download the Shell Extension, as this gives you the SAME instant preview INSIDE your right-click context menus as you had with PicaView - I've attached an image of what my context menu looks like when right-clicking on a jpeg file :)

It's a Windows Explorer add-on that functions as an image viewer: by right-clicking on a .jpg, .bmp etc. file, you can view the picture. I re-installed the app after moving to Vista Ultimate, however it apparently isn't compatible with this new OS. No surprise I suppose as the program is pretty ancient.

Anyone know of another prog (either freeware or inexpensive shareware) that might be out there I can use in place of PicaView?
