Re: Voom HDs - 'Channel not available' msg last 2 weeks My voom channels just became unavailable on my 8300 and blank on my 4200s.
Update: After working with Cablevision, some work, but others just stay stuck on "Initializing, please wait" |

Rebooting had fixed some problems, but not all. |

Jmartz join:2000-07-20 Tenafly, NJ | Isn't switched video great? I still can not fathom why Cablevision is going that route. I would rather loose analog channels to make room for digital than keep some analog and have the digital stuff just plain not work.
Are there any TimeWarner Austin customers around these parts? I wonder if they can provide any insight into how Switched Video is working, or not working for them down there. I believe they were the first to use SDV on TimeWarner, and supposedly it's working "great" according to TWC... I'm wondering if that's really the case... |

Rebooting had fixed some problems, but not all. I'm going to have Cablevision come on-site to fix it, even thought I have no confidence they will. Personally, I never watch the channels that are coming in, but if I'm paying for it, I want everything work just in case. |
