Maybe a good thing?

Has anyone considered that in one way having some pot-idled haX0rZ with no real plans do this was a service to the community at large?

Imagine if some Russian mafia team had figured this out, and at 8AM on a Tuesday silently replaced comcast.net with a lookalike page, and started logging password requests through email ports?

You better be sure that every major domain holder in the world and registrar is having meetings this morning, figuring out better ways to make sure this doesn't happen in the future.
