So what. We could still sue a company and request for class action. If enough people had issues that could be presented. |

| reply to p2pnet I will apply since I am with H3ll.
When signing up, do I use the name on the contract or my own, or both?
"Avez-vous constaté depuis octobre 2007 des ralentissements à votre vitesse d'accès Internet? Oui. Si oui, veuillez indiquer les applications sur lesquelles vous avez constaté des ralentissements:" [Did you see any internet slowdowns since October '07? If so on which applications?]
Which other applications besides torrents are irrefutably throttled? If anyone tested this yet, are other application throttled as well when you use them in parallel with torrents? |

| reply to p2pnet well if bell thinks it has the right as the CRTC says it has for the moment to do this, hten NOT only would a class action by bell customers be possible but any third party customer that is affected and it is as i said that we would wait until the caip issue had a decision and as the CRTC thinks its ok to let us hang for ever, then perhaps it is time for an ontario suit.
If Mr Geist would step up and get someone a contact lawyer and perhaps some donations for the cost could be had then you might see a class action.
As i said the issues i have had are not isolated. |

| reply to p2pnet I'm from Quebec and legally speaking a lot of things are unique to Quebec. No idea if that is relevant here (not a lawyer).
But for once I guess we are getting mileage out of the innate classic French disagreeable nature

@teksavvy.com | reply to Candoo3 If Bell is forced to turn off DPI for their own customers, then they have better turn it off for other ISPs that use their infrastructure.
Personally I think a precedent to the class action would be more powerful than a CRTC ruling. |

We need a PLO party for us Ontarian... Not to be confused with that other organization. Hopefully, also not outsourced to there either.
I have the impression that the Quebec court is more consumer friendly too. Wish the same for our courts here. |

If I heard about some old mushlim guy cutting the clittorise off his daughter up here in canada. I'd be pissed.
and if it was like school, distractions are not allowed, those veils on the ladies always distract me, I'd prefer if they didn't follow such extreme religions still once in canada, but they can atleast put laws in place preventing the burtal parts of these religions. |
