| I am comcast I work for, lets say, one of the larger comcast contracting companies, and I can say this. I see the screwups and poor installs DTV and Dish do as well, I have customers tell me they got comcast because Dish or DTV F**ked them over on either billing or service in general, I know people that switched to comcast because the cheaper "second" cable provider in the area didnt handle their issues, and took forever to correct line issues. basically, if you pay for cheap service, you get cheap service. we are dispatched next day usually, sometimes we are out there same day for trouble calls. alot of other services take days. i guess it will always be a fact of we are the cable company, the most hated people in the world. |
