1 edit | PS CS3 - stroke default is red - can U change default color? PS CS3 - stroke effect is red by default - is there a way to change default color to say, black?
Now,I know how to change the color from red to black, but who the hell uses red? I don't. I use the stroke effect to apply a 1px black border around most of my photos. It would be nice to have it default to black so I don't have to go through the extra steps of changing it each use.
Any ideas?
Thanks - Taylor |

Perhaps this isn't the same thing though but works for me. Thanks. I never accessed "stroke" from edit drop-down menu. I always accessed if in layer effects. And you're right about it saving the color of the stroke when applied that way. From now on that's the way I'll apply it. -- "Life is too important to be taken seriously" - Oscar Wilde "NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF HUMAN STUPIDITY" |

I understand the functions of all the layer effects. I just wanted to know if I could set the color to black as default whenever I open the GUI.
I guess I'll contact one of the Photoshop Help folks over at NAPP.

Let us know what you find out. |

1 edit | reply to Sledhed Better than that, I saved it as a custom layer style.
