I'm experiencing poor performance (packet loss, slow downloads) as well. On phone now with Comcast support rep. Was able to detect packet loss. If you're having problems, suggest that you call, too. Perhaps they'll get the message and look into it. |

| reply to Upgrayyed Well, I called comcast customer service. The guy asked me to power down my computer, router, and cable modem. Then, I power them up in reverse order. Web pages do seem to load noticeably faster. They guy also have use this page to test:

2070 kb/s down / 2167 kb/s up (Ping = 21 ms)
For San Francisco server :
29051 kb/s down / 2097 kb/s up (Ping = 31 ms)
For LA server :
28244 kb/s down / 1984 kb/s up (Ping = 20 ms)
For Portland, OR server :
25562 kb/s down / 2265 kb/s up (Ping = 28 ms)
Gee I thought San Jose was the ' Capital of Silicon Valley "  |
