annoying security alert popup on SSL sites

landry98 : Last month completed reformat and reinstallation of OEM XP home on a P4 Dell . I used factory disk and updated with SP1 & 2 and reinstalled Norton360. Windows firewall is turned off.

Since the reinstall whenever I click on an SSL site I get a windows Security Alert popup advising "revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to proceed?" I have unchecked "warn about invalid site certificates" in the browser tools, also checked "clear SSL state". Popups still there, sometimes twice for a site. Any ideas what my problem might be? thanks in advance-
