That was the El Toro Post Office in its entirety. This was the last chance for gas before heading out into the canyons. They even sold Levis, socks, dungarees, work boots and overalls. Everything for the well-dressed citrus farmer.  <br><br>ETR was two lanes back then. The lakes are part of the MV golf course facilities. <description><![CDATA[CurtesyFlush posted : Aerial view of El Toro and NW Mission Viejo in the very early seventies. For orientation, extreme lower left of center you can see the small green tree dotted area of the cemetery, so the "T" intersection above that and to the right a bit is Trabuco Rd and El Toro Rd. As you can see, Trabuco Rd hasn't been punched through to its namesake on the other side of the little valley yet. You can see the homes of the Seville tract crawling up the hill to the left of the Trabuco extension, which then intersects with one of the nascent fragments of Los Alisos Blvd.<br><br>I'll let those of you who are familiar with the current configuration of this area marvel at the changes wrought.
